My boyfriend's grandma just passed comfortably in her home :( his poor mom was holding her hand when she took her last breath. All she wanted before she passed was to meet her first great grandchild & I feel so guilty for not being able to do that for her. I'm due in three weeks & would give anything to grant one of her last wishes. 💔 never again do I want to witness someone in their last moments, worst thing I've ever experienced in my life.

Dont know if you believe in heaven or not but you can always quietly introduce baby to great grandma. I kinda know the feeling...my bf's dad passed away a few years back which seems like yesterday but I will make sure this little guy knows who his grandpa was and keep pics around even though he can't physically meet him I know we can introduce him to grandpa Steve. Grandpa will be watching him and protecting him in spirit! You are very blessed to have met her and you can keep her memory alive and she will be protecting baby and watching out for you guys. I know its hard times but try to be strong! Sending good and positive vibes your way!

Maybe bring the baby to her gravesite when its healthy enough. Maybe a prayer for grandma in the hospital when the baby is born

Thats a great and beautiful idea @shortiebs! I would totally do gravesite visit if possible. Grandpa Steve's wishes were for cremation so his ashes are here with us in our home until we can take him home to Hawaii. I am glad our baby will get to say goodbye with us when we spread his grandpa's ashes.
