FTM Mommy here; how do I register at Target or Babies R Us for my baby shower? I just go in & talk to a worker & register, and tell them what to put on the list of things I have/need? & Does it cost any money?

they'll give you a scanner to go around and scan what you want on the registry

Yes you can go in to the store. Or you can start it online.

Just make sure you go pick up your registry gifts from the stores!
