Every time I go to my appointments, I'm in there for like literally 3 minutes. Don't get me wrong I love getting home early but I feel like the doctor doesn't FULLY examine my baby. She's like "okay everything's good see you in 2 weeks." I'm like "that's it??" So then I try to ask questions and she answers them with one word answers. Even the receptionist are like "wow that was fast, did the doctor see you already?"

That's strange my doctor takes time to explain things to me, in non doctor words

I had a doctor like that then i switch and this doctor is way more informative and told me things my other doctor wasn't

I would switch. You need to feel comfortable asking questions and you need to know you're getting the answers you need.

@kmally, I see that some moms on here know the weight of their baby, so I asked her and she's like "that's not too important right now, they don't gain too much weight until the end" she just said "his head is down and everything looks perfect to me" everything as far as what?? I want to know!

@marijay, you have a right to question and to know things about your baby! She is right that weight is extremely hard to estimate until baby is here (most estimates are way off). But still, it sounds like she's more concerned about getting as many patients through the door as possible ($$$) and not about getting to know you and your baby.
