Contract is written in paper that's where the court will see it so no. You could be nice and give early but if you don't have the money, you aren't legally binded to pay yet

we told her when we moved in we were struggling with money from moving from another and all our bills piling up but it would be paid the first for sure she said she understood and she quit her job after we signed which paid for this place and then just recently got fired @chantebrandon

no , wth. that lease is a binding contract . if it's due on the 3rd she will get it on the 3rd. she better find some other way . like @chantebrandon said it's not your problem . mines is the 3rd too . but we usually pay early just to get it out the way . but , they never pestered me for it. and plus you don't know if she's really using it for that reason.
