Hello everyone! I was just told that I have Gestional Diabetes. I am so upset about this. Is there any other moms that have it or had it that did not see a dietitian? I was told to see one. My issue is that I have one car at the moment. My husband has to take time off of work to take to to my doctor appointment every two weeks and ultra sounds appointments every 3-4 weeks. Financially we can't afford for him to keep taking off of work. Just curious if any other moms didn't see a dietitian. Thanks

I had it with my last pregnancy I only had to see the dietitian one time to get the blood monitor and to find out how much carbohydrates I should eat.

Good to know. I got my monitor yesterday. My doctor was telling me I need to see one and turn in a food journal every visit. Maybe I should just fo once and see what they say.

I had to see the dietitian twice once when I had to go to a class with like 20 other girls explaining the monitor and portions of food and giving you a diet to follow and a week later to see how the diet was going

need suggestions.... So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
