my sister had an emergency c section and no one was able to go in the room with her,not even her husband. but it could be different if its a plan c section

Most allow it, but if it turns into an emergency type situation he'll be kicked out.

I had an emergency one with my daughter and my sister was allowed in the o.r. she just had to gown and glove up and mask and stay at my head...they also didn't bring her in until I was already cut open and she was ushered out when my daughter came out...which I didn't mind bc she stayed with my daughter until I was out of icu
