ok....so is this a good reason to not get an apartment and actually start a life...I need a little input. my BD has a dog that he's raised since she was a puppy. he wants to stay with his mom if it was the case where we can get an apartment by ourselves that isn't allowed any dogs. because we don't have income, I'm talking like housing help buildings and filing out applications for free housing. it seems like he's not worried about Zoey but his dog when we have a daughter on the way. we can't stay with his mom forever...so is it bad that when I get the acceptance papers for the free apartments for this thing called mod (some mommies won't know what this is) that I'm talking Zoey and I'm gone. I'm at least trying to start a life with our daughter and get on our feet but all he cares about is his dog. I can understand to a point but then your baby should be your number one priority over everything and anyone else even if it is pets. yea I'm an animal lover but sometimes there's more important people or things then a pet....please. if I'm wrong tell me

As a mother we always do what's best for us and our kids and that's all that you're doing if he can't simply understand that his job is more important than a dog then you have to do what you have to do for you and your child

In my opinion it's not really about the dog. He just doesn't want to grow up and take on the responsibility. The dog is his excuse. Get your apartment for you and your daughter! You can do it on your own! You will be a great mommy.
