I'm having the hospital save it for my son you never know if they might need it later in life

@karinagrace, I agree! It's really expensive where I live to bank your child's cord blood. But you can donate it to a public bank for free... the more people choose to do this, the better the chances of finding a match in one of these public banks if you or child needs a donation one day. I'm just curious to know if you have to clamp right away (which is not what I want).

I would love to bank, but it is so costly. I may heard about delayed cord clamping and I'm going to all about it. .. would love to do it

@mom2keiks, yes, delayed cord clamping is very beneficial to baby. I definitely recommend it if it's possible.
