I don't have any children before this pregnancy. so I really don't know the answer. Why do women show favoritism within their children?? Some parents make it so obvious, but wonders why their child acts up in school or has to b center of attention

Ugh I've seen this all too often.... one of my aunts clearly shows favoritism to her older child... And we all know its bcuz of who his father is.... smh

I'm so scared of that when this baby comes! I don't want my 6 yo son to think I favor the baby over him and vice versa!

equal love and attention is all I can say. you are both of their mommy. I think this is where teaching your kids the definition of sharing.

You have to show them all equal attention but it has to be individual attention aimed at the child's personality and needs. Every child is different and has different needs. When you have multiple children it is hard to keep it completely even but you do it the best you can

that's one thing I'm having anxiety about, and always worried. That i will show one child to Much attention. I'm very close with my 6 y/o had her young. So I would haute for her to feel left out.
