Did anyone swell up and go into labor soon after?

My doctor said the few days beforehand you should swell up 'like a marshmallow' haha

I swelled, but it's cause I developed preeclampsia 😔 I was overdue anyways.

@breloya, my feet always swell, but this is the first time my hands did lol. :/

Oh, but I had to be induced that day. Blood pressure was dangerously high.

Lol i 'complain' about everything so I can hear his explanations. It's just my hands that are swollen in the morning, so I don't think that small amount of swelling is a sign for me, but it could be for you! @ngujen

Yeah, my hands were swollen and I had cankles lol. And my feet were so swollen, I could only wear flip flops.

@breloya, did they catch it at your appointment? @blueberrybrewing hopefully but I don't want to get my hopes up! Hopefully I've progressed since then but won't find out until Tuesday :/

Yep. They took my blood pressure and it was around 180/90 and it kept getting worse, along with the swelling and stuff so I was wheeled up to labor and delivery. From there, my blood pressure for worse. It was 190/107 and the numbers were so high I had to get meds to lower it and couldn't have any stimulation til they dropped. No phone, no laughing and talking to my hubby or anything. Just laid there.

It sucked, but my baby was healthy. That's all you care about at the moment. Hopefully your munchkin comes soon.
