a few teachers make me feel so uncomfortable to pump at school they seriously need to have just a private room instead of me having to use their office/teachers which they check to see if I steal when I'm done its so annoying I told one lady I'm going to put the milk in the fridge she said OK and as soon as i got in there she ran In and said in a obvious voice I'm going to get my food the way she said it I know she was just trying to sound as if she's not watching me(there was no food insight she left empty handed) and before that she came in when I was tossing my milk in the freezer and acted like she was looking for something shuffling around papers I know they don't do this to the other student...makes me not want to pump at all but I have to to keep my supply up for my baby I'd be crush if my supply went away which I think it might end up i only have time to pump maybe twice for ten mins out of my 6 hour day tomorrow in the am I'm going to buy a munchkin or either the lansinoh breast milk storage coolers before school freeze the ice packs in the teacher fridge when its done I'll use it ,until then I'll bring a ice pack and have my milk sit on that till the other ice pack is done freezing then I will start just keeping my milk in my locker ,I shouldn't have to feel uncomfortable I wish I didnt have to pump n the supply just stay if only it were that easy...bad enough I'm away from my 2 month old longer then I want to be its Luke I want to be a stay at home mom but I want something under my name and bring income plus to be one wouldn't work right now... I hate missing and being away from him makes my days sad

That's so annoying and to the point where I bet it can be discouraging. I'm sorry you have to deal with that crap. It's amazing you are not not only back in school, but also go thru that just to keep bfing. Stay strong and try to brush it off best as tough can.

@varduim, thank you !! and yes it's very discouraging hate that feeling, but I don't let my self give up because of them I'm doing it for my son just can't wait to get my cooler storage bag so i don't have to use their fridge at all they give me a empty class room to pump in so Tuesday -(Friday off)Saturday I don't have to use their office to pump thank god cause if I did i don't know how it'd workout this is beauty school a school full of mostly grown women they should have private a room or a nice private separate room in the bathroom for breastfeeding that's nice n clean/comfy

They really should! And since they don't, you would think women would be more sensitive to the topic. I'm really glad you will get the empty classroom, and have your own cooler soon. Less stress for you not having to deal with that anymore. It's hard enough as is! You made me think about pumping at work after my baby, and I really need to come up with a plan.

@varduim, yes have a plan ,get a cooler or if people at your job don't get freaked out about breast milk being in the fridge/freezer use that,people at my school are sadly immature and think its gross to be around their food so I think that's why students don't have excess to the fridge anymore and we only have vending machines ...and before you go to work ask where you'd be able to pump or if a private room will be provided legally by law I believe they have to provide some where just not a bathroom
