Another thing I learned thats unsafe for pregnant women tonight: nutmeg. I was making a single serving of apple crisp to bake in the oven and ran out of cinnamon...went and used Nutmeg instead and then thought, hmm, I should Google this just to be safe (since, you know us pregnant women can hardly have anything without it being considered unsafe) and sure enough, Nutmeg is considered unsafe as it can cause miscarriage. I dumped the dry mix out and just used Allspice instead - which is safe. Whew....glad I checked.
