my anatomy scan went well. baby is fine no down syndrome or reason to worry. I go back in 8 weeks to find out the gender but it looked like a boy fingers crossed

@frances.gln92, you did an anatomy scan pretty early. That's usually done in the 18th week I was told by my doctor. The gender usually can be revealed also at the anatomy scan. GL

it was to check for fluid around the spin and for down syndrome. it was called the first trimester screening/ nuchal translucency

How did u get that so early ?! I just had my Down syndrome test at 19w bc they said it has to be done between 18-20 . Even at 16w I went in because the went off my old due date and said the baby was to small / organs to measure anything @nurseriri @frances.gln92

I did my genetics test on the 17 and my doctor gave me this paper that said they were going to call to schedule an appointment for the first trimester scan and nuchal translucency

not as far as I know. my doctor told me I had to get the scan done .. why does that mean I'm high risk???? @mommy2jaidyn.noah
