When did you mommies get a membrane sweep and why?

i know i want to know to. Hopefully i get one this friday.

I got one when I was 39 weeks 5 days and because I wanted to go into labor lol

did you have to ask for it? @littlemissemma6915 Did you go into labor and if so how long after?

@myers15, my doctor asked me if I wanted some help trying to get labor started I said yes. But I did mention the sweep the week before so that's why I think he did it when I was 39 weeks 5 days and I had my daughter the next morning. But I was already 80% effaced and 1 cm dilated. Contractions started pretty much immediately after I got the sweep done.

I'm 1 cm dilated and last week I was 50% effaced but she didn't say that I was thinned more or not and tomorrow I'll be 38 weeks and was just wondering if she would do it next week if I asked

I got offered one at 38 weeks, 1cm dilated. That didn't do anything. Yesterday at 39 weeks I got a second one done, 2cm dilated. I've had cramping and lost most my plug. Just a waiting game really lol
