I love Texas. born and raised can't imagine living anywhere else.

It was a adjustment at first! But this is feeling more like home everyday the cost of living is so much better for us! If I was still living in nj I wouldn't know how we would afford another baby! And insurance here been so much better as well in nj I couldn't even get on my husband insurance without him paying 230.00 a month for me!

My HQ just moved from Irving to Coppell so I am gonna start visiting TX in Jan to see what cities are around the area and within my price range because I want to just buy when I move not rent another place

I'm in Fort Worth near Saginaw. it's less expensive and nicer than areas closer to Dallas. we are about a 35 minute drive to Dallas.

That's what we were doing paying so much just to rent a house in nj! We are in Lynchburg va now! My brother live in Texas from what he always says he loves it! I wish the best luck for you! I think it was the best choice we did for us and our family!

Irving is very crowded. some parts are very nice and expensive but most are a tad bit too rough for my liking.

Ok Fort Worth was on my list to visit Dallas was at the bottom of my list lol @Jomommaclark

I'm also about 35 minutes from Copell! I'm north DFW in McKinney. Lots of construction and growth going on here. (Various price ranges for homes). I moved a little over a year ago from San Jose, Ca. (For me it was half the price for triple the house)

@ginag918, it's very expensive. I won't lie, I do miss the weather, the hills, my family...however, housing is cheaper, groceries are cheaper.. Our real estate agent we used here primarily works with people relocating. If you need a referral let me know.
