I was hoping to get a baby book to keep for Eloise but I wasn't able to have extra money this week.
So instead I was thinking about maybe writing her a letter every week? I would just tell her things like how we felt, what had been happening, any milestone or other stories about her stuff like that.

You could do that or scrapbook your own babybook!! Start by writing out what you'll put. You can look up the contents of a baby book and plan it all out. Then just slowly buy things to make it. It's a cheap hobby, paper is like 10-25 cents a piece and markers and stickers are cheap too! You can buy a cheap scrapbook for a few dollars or just put it in an old binder you have laying around.

a girl I know has memory journals for her kids instead of baby books. she writes them letter and puts pictures and writes their milestones in it and things like that. I have baby book and I write my son letters.
