Someone gave me word unless my car seat is one that says it can be connected safely into the shopping cart do not put any other kind of car seat in the shopping cart yet I see everyone do it I was told because it happen to my cousin not to because the car seat was to heavy the basket fell opinions

reason some ppl say its because the locks that lock into the base will wear out and during an accident the car seat will fly off the base.

I always put the seat in the main basket or use a stroller...putting the seat on top is dangerous and could fall but also it can damage the part it clicks in the base causing the seat to fail during an accident

@eskawho, I was thinking of doing that because I wouldn't want anything to happen but I've seen them try to fix the car seat in the baby seat of the shopping cart

I see a lot of people put the seat on top too...and honestly I always thought it was ok but doing research on carseats I found out just how dangerous it can be so I think so many people just don't know how bad it is. @fifismommy

Definitely put it in the main part of the cart. The cart can get top heavy and tip and "clicking" the seat on top can cancel your warranty for the seat. Baby wearing for the win! ;) I just wore baby. Easy hands free shopping and not having to worry ;)
