when did you find out the gender if you don't mind me asking

I found out last Friday.. I did the test a week and a half ago (Panorama Test) @jdrose

@rhonda.otero, I wanted to get the blood test but my i surance wouldn't cover it as I am not high risk 😕 So, unfortunately for me, I have to wait until I'm 19 weeks at my next ultrasound to find out. I am having a really difficult time waiting! #impatient

@sarahemccormick, that sucks my doctor does it for everyone you just have to ask. Most of my friends do too but that sucks maybe it's because the insurance doesn't cover it. I would think if they don't and you want it then you could just pay for it.

@mdomke22, yes they can with certain test like harmony and panorama. Just depends on your doc if they are willing to do it or not.. I've heard some only do it for certain cases but mine did it without question but they wouldn't give me a sonogram even though I hadn't seen my baby.. Weird but now I am considered high risk so I will have a sonogram at every visit.

Oh, I could have paid for it for sure. But it was $400 😕 So, I opted out.

@sarahemccormick, oh yeah! Lol why pay that much when you can get it for free a few weeks later but the screening is also for cystic fibrosis and other things like that so it's beneficial the insurance should cover it.
