To keep her belly from turning after she eats.. It's something that happens to big dogs and they die from it easily.. It's when air gets in their belly and it basically twist up and nothing can get in or out. @ce5ce

So they stitch the belly to the inside so it can't do that @ce5ce

Yeah you definitely should my dogs mother actually passed away from it and the vet explained it could have been prevented so we are having it done with the spay. You can also have it done with a neuter since their already open in the belly area. @ce5ce
