@yahuahsdaughter Well, my job "laid me off" for my maternity leave so that's how I qualified.

for groceries i suggest the basics, rice, potatoes , pasta for the base then and veggies and some lean protein or eggs, u can make any combination you like. tacos are cheap to make. mashed potatoes, rice, homemade soups making food that lasts more than a day like lasagna, casserols, and other ove. baked entries. and preparing food for couple of days helps a lot. you can make muffins for breakfast.

@yahuahsdaughter, thank you so much!! That helps me get some dinners planned out. & yeah, unfortunately it only works if they fire or lay you off. You could always apply for WIC and public aid though !
