I had one huge contraction at the same time a cramp on my left side I could barely move and then some fluid came out I don't know if my water broke, if it was my water how long till the contractions start ???

right away but thing is for me when I was pregnant I didn't had contractions or anything then that same night I was home still the mucous plug came out bloody so I went too the hospital they had too put me on a machine for me too dilate then put me on a machine on for contractions

if the baby is blocking the opening to your cervix your water couldve broke and only have the ability to leak right now. id call l&d or go just to be safe
