You had your baby congrats! Jaundice is common in newborns! Morning sunlight does help like through a window!

@phasion, yes I have a pool so I take him out in the morning with nothing but a diaper and let him soak up the sun. And thank you for telling me it's ok because sometime being a new mom we need comforting words. Specially from other new moms.

@blue_87 oh ok make sure he's not in direct sun though . and no problem girl thats why we are here we all go through something with our little one and its always comforting knowing us moms going through some of the same issues. like lastnight and right now my son is going through a growth spurt and all i want is sleep lol

@tracynangel, I did, I had him the 18th. Sun light and feeding around the clock is what they told me but the lactation consultant scared the crap out of me.

@phasion, what does a growth spurt consist of? So I'll know when he goes through one.

@tracynangel, yes my husband said why did I let someone who's not a doctor upset me so much, that all I have to do is take him to his pediatrician if I think somethings not right.

Lol I'm creeping on ur page. but my daughter had jaundice as well. and her pediatrician told me that if your breastfeeding the jaundice can take longer to come out for some reason. as long as baby is peeing and pooping.... and eating about every 2 hrs during the day everything should be ok :) my daughter's lasted till she was about 2 months. she's perfectly healthy :) so try not to stress too much hunny

@mdomke22, thank you for creepin lol I'll always take imput from momma's who've been there. I'm feeding every 1 1/2 hours and doing some sunlight in the morning but I think we have it under control now. I just need to keep feeding him. 😀

Yea it stressed me out so much to cuz she'd Always fall asleep after like 10 or 15 min. I'm like ahhh! lol doc reassured me she's just fine every time.

Girl I just try to stay as calm as I can, and trust that everything's going to be just fine. I just need to stay off google lol. Being a new mom is the scariest thing I've every done and I was in the military. @mdomke22
