I was told 2 months also...I had a c section so I was ok waiting for a while but I took her out at 1 month because I needed to get out lol but only a short trip and kept her away from people. they say 2 months because it's when they get their shots...and with the changing season right now there's a lot of colds and flu around so I would be careful.

Yes I understand all that. Makes sense. We take him out but only in the car to the pediatrician. We ran a few errands last week and I went just for the ride as I'm going kinda crazy being home always but we kept him in the car. People come over to visit but no one touches him without washing. He was born a few weeks early possibly why she said 2 months. I had a c section too so it's not a big deal to stay home is just like to take him to the orchard and go pick a pumpkin. Not much I can do with a almost 2 month old at the end of October but dress him cute. @eskawho

@princevince, I don't see anything wrong with taking him to pick a pumpkin because fresh air is always good...my daughter's pediatrician told me when she was born to take her outside for walks and whatever just to be cautious around too many people and that's where the 2 month wait came in...my daughter was born at 38 and a half weeks I think it just depends on the pediatrician. my daughter has been very healthy, not even a cold and she is 6 months old...maybe put a sign up on the stroller for people not to touch
