for those of you who are breast feeding I'm trying to breast feed and when my baby latches it hurts after a minute it stops hurting but when he's done eating it hurts for like 10 min. is this normal?
Then there's no thrush. Yeast is very obvious when it's in babies mouth!! I'm sure all is good then, just gotta get your boobies used to breastfeeding!
@bria.k, no they aren't and im not sure he looks like he's latching in really well
Have you made sure babies latch is good? That may cause nipple pain as well.
Yeah that happens to most women. It'll go away, your nipples just take a little while to toughen up! Do you have nipple cream? Also rubbing breast milk on them may help. And let them air dry when baby is done, or you put something on them, don't just cover them up. They get chapped just like if you were licking your lips all the time.
@bria.k, my nipples both hurt and hurts when they rub up against anything
Aw honey don't worry! I'm sure you're doing just fine. 😊 mommas know best. Is it your breasts or nipples that hurt? It'll go away after awhile but there might be some things you can do to help it along.
@bria.k, I'm always worrying if I'm doing things right. it's scary having someone rely on you for sustenance. I love him so much though so I'm gonna try and make this work. is there any way to get it to stop hurting so much
@bria.k, thanks, do you have any tips on rashes?
