Sorry ladies, just need to vent. Booked an expensive place for my baby shower cuz my darling sister took her sweet time calling around and all the nice cheap ones are already booked and my house is too small for the amount of people I want to come. I was so frustrated cuz now I may be running my own shower and paying for everything. What's the point of having a shower and spending all your money on that when with the cost I could just as well buy all the baby things I need? I should have know she would flake on this. Ugh.

@mircalhoun, thanks girl. Luckily a coworker is willing to plan it for me but she has a 3 year old and just lost her mom so I don't expect her to pay for stuff. I'm just frustrated with my sister cuz she pulled this same shit with my bridal shower. I should have planned ahead and foreseen this

I hear ya, that's why I left it to my boyfriend to do. Because I said I no longer wanted one if I had to do it. It's so stressful but just take things step by step.
