Most comfortable night gown

high waisted granny panties (if you have a c-section this is a must if not they are just comfortable)

nursing bra or sports bra

pillow (the hospital almost didn't give me one because they where "busy")

toiletries

brush

CHAPSTICK

make up (if its important)

chargers

phone/laptop/tablet

towel for the shower

flip flop for shower

For Baby

going home outfit

pictures outfit

that's it! they provide everything else

What I packed and actually used was a pair of super comfortable pjs and sandles to go home in, a hair tie to keep hair outta your face as your pushing, Gum, my wallet, a brush, tooth brush and tooth paste, deoderent, phone and charger, a baby blanket, car seat, going home outfit for baby, and makeup remover cloths to clean off my face from sweat or anything. I loved wearing the gown and socks in the hospital. bra-less and super comfortable lol. I was able to pack everything we needed in one small bag. I didn't wanna have to worry about too many bags as we were leaving the house.
