That's odd they don't usually let you leave until they've gotten the results and it definitely doesn't take that long

my hospitals labs come back within an hour or so and don't discharge you until they have the results

I figured. they said that they checked me for chlamydia and gonorrhea, and said those tests take a few days. I never got a call, so I guess those came back fine@rhonda.otero

Well if it's just for those I wouldn't worry too much about it because you're pregnant they would definitely get a hold of you right away... You can always call and double check for peace of mind

I actually didn't know that the ER tests pregnant women for everything, tho.

they did a rh test on me to check to see if I was negative or positive and they told me the same night everything was good, BUT the gonorrea and chlamydia results I had to wait for. @kay123 ka

when i took my pregnancy test at the health dep they also checked for chlamydia and gonorrhea then i got a letter in the mail bout a week later lettin me kno the results

I had to go to the health department to confirm pregnancy . do they always check for those things when u confirm pregnancy?@kay123 ka

@mandapanda25, they did for mine but every dr office health dep and hospital is different
