Because income wise I would never be able to afford all the insurance costs of having a baby I applied for Medicaid. I also applied especially because my last pregnancy came as a shock when I found out at 24 weeks I was pregnant can with twins and gave birth to 24 week babies that didn't live I didn't know what to expect this time around. So the Medicaid was for precaution. I applied and said I was single. At the time my boyfriend (I call him husband) made less money. Now that the baby is born they're asking for his pay stubs. Are they going to collect money from him. She said it didn't effect anything and baby would still be covered for a year. Anybody have any experience with this. If they garnish his wages we will be screwed. Especially since I'm on leave with no pay.
