people say "oh you will miss being pregnant!" well let me tell you something.

I won't miss the constant trips to the bathroom. I won't miss the constant pain in my lungs because they are stretching ridiculously far. I won't miss all the doctors appointments, exams, and antibiotics. I won't miss those embarrassing trips the the ER, or all those horrible questions about my body I had to ask because I didn't know. I won't miss the constant kicking on my bladder, ribs, stomach, and sides. I won't miss the raging hormones, and endless need to stuff my face and look like a pig. I won't miss the constant "your still pregnant?!" questions or the "Are you sure it's not twins sweety??" question. I won't miss not being able to touch my toes or trying walk up stairs without feeling like I'm dying. I won't miss the pain in my back or the pain that shoots down my leg. I won't miss accidently not making it to the bathroom in time or the embarrassing walk to the car in shame. I won't miss constantly getting "advice" by other ladies or the "you know" talks.

Let me tell you what I will miss though. I will miss the first time I was told I was pregnant. I will miss hearing my baby girls heart beat for the very first time and balling my eyes out. I will miss the day I saw her tiny face and I knew that my baby- my little miracle that was never supposed to be able to come true was real. I will miss that. I will miss my husband's face lighting up the first time he felt her move or the first time he got to see her. I will miss that. So even though pregnancy is rough and it hurts and it's uncomfortable, just remember those little times of immeasurable joy, and you will make it.
