Hey ladies I have a minute so here's my labor story!

We had a 40 week obgyn appointment at 1:45 pm. She did a non stress test and baby girl wasn't moving so we had to do an ultrasound. Ultrasound showed that our baby was tiny. They were afraid she had stopped growing so we were sent to be induced

We got to the hospital around 5pm. I was 3 cm dilated on my own. They started me on pitocin. They checked at 7pm because contractions were getting a bit painful and I was at 5 and a half centimeters. They gave me an epidural because I wasn't handling the pain. that was the worst part. The contractions got more tolerable after though by alot. Around 2am I started feeling a lot of pressure and the nurse checked I was at 10cm. I started to push once but the baby started to get distressed so they had me stop and they stopped the pitocin. At a bit after 3 I started pushing again and no joke it took 3 pushes and she was out! The cord was around her neck so they cut it and we didn't get to do delayed clamping but that's okay. She started screaming immediately.
