I actually took me longer than just holding her to bond with her. I loved her unconditionally from the start, but it took a while for it to sink it. Motherhood didn't come super naturally to me. I also had serious PPD and that had a lot to do with it too. But don't worry, you know you love your baby, so don't feel bad. I think it's a natural feeling not all mothers talk about.

everyone says that breastfeeding is a great bonding experience but to be honest, not to sound horrible either, but I really didn't get that binding feeling when I breastfeed. I honestly get a lot more bonding with my daughter when I cuddle with her

@caseysmommy you definetly will. And j know what you mean. Some ladies read books, talk and sing to their babies while still in their womb , and I never did that. didn't get that bonding feeling until I actually physically had her

About a week or so after being home is when I truly fell in love with him and I feel we were really bonding. Before that I was too exhausted and sore to even realize what was going on lol. Almost like shock? And ever since then I have fallen more and more in love with him every day and with every new thing he does. We breastfed as well and it's definitely and amazing bonding experience!

Nothing wrong with it my cousin didn't feel a true bond until her son was almost two months...she also didn't find out she was pregnant until her 8th month so she didn't get that time to bond and also wasn't ready to be a mom...I'm sure you see your baby and spend time it will happen don't feel bad about it

It didn't happen for me right away either with my first! Even when I pushed him out n the pit him on me o kinda felt ackward! It wasn't til I went home with him without all the extra hospital stuff n nurses! I'm crazy about my 6 year old baby boy lol!
