I also don't agree with that.. I think if you have different gender babies then you should be able to have a shower for both! #Boy really fair to the baby to not have a shower and get things they need because they have a sibling!

I was thinking the same thing It wouldn't settle right with me I already have a son so there for I'm going to have something for my daughter and if the family doesn't like it they don't have to participate.... There's no tradition when it comes to baby showers @gabrielsmommy2015

Screw tradition! I think if you just had a baby shower for a boy last year and then you're having another boy, that's kinda pointless cause I'm sure you have allll the boy stuff still. But you're having a girl now and I'm sure that means you need tons of girl stuff! I had my son in 2014 and had a baby shower because he was my first, now this year I'm having a baby girl so I had another baby shower! But I only registered for small stuff that I mainly needed in girl colors, like blankets, bedding, clothes, etc. I didn't register for anything that costs more than $50 except my double stroller. And no one said anything about me having another baby shower. I did call it a "sprinkle" though and I let people know that we mainly needed pink stuff and that it was more of a get together/celebration :) do it girl!

I think all these rules are stupid lol. Everyone's family is different. Some people have big parties for EVERYTHING! I think you should ask your loved ones. If they are excited about a celebratory event for the baby then go for it. You can do a diaper party, traditional shower, a bbq or dinner party. Get creative and keep your family's style and taste in mind
