The hubs and I went to the doctor yesterday and they still didn't want to do an ultrasound but they promised I would have a 3D/4D ultrasound within a couple of weeks and so I will definitely opt for that! They are worried too many would hurt the baby even though it hasn't been proven they figure why chance it... Great thing is today I'm 13 weeks and they said I should get the call about the gender today yay!!

@rhonda.otero, ultrasounds are just sound waves. That shouldn't pose a risk to the baby.

@nurseriri, that's what I said. I told her that I know some women get one every visit. She said the less I expose my baby to the better if its not needed why risk it 😔 I don't have one picture of my baby the one sonogram I did get was in the hospital and they refuse to give me a picture

That's Ridiculous. I would be piss. But better believe i would get one done one way or the other. My ob gyn knows me well so she won't pull that crap. If I call her and say I wanna a sonogram she knows to have me come to her ASAP. Think I have like 6 pics of him. And getting another one at my anatomy scan.

@nurseriri, the first ob said it wasn't medically necessary so that's why I tried to find another... No luck so far

No it's not. But as mothers we find joy in these pics. Im a FTM so it's very important to me @rhonda.otero

@nurseriri, I understand. This baby will be my only child with no first trimester sonogram in his/her baby book 😔
