This is what I sent my husband about an hour ago. Our daughter wants to be a dancer but since we moved to NY we have basically been living in limbo. I feel like every moment she isn't dancing the kids her age are getting a 1 up on her.. Same as my son in baseball this season and it's killing me 😢😢😢
Text to hubby: I was just watching these videos of these kids dancing and Asia was in one and I just broke down crying I can't wait until I get to see Aly dance like that... She is missing out on so much right now. I encourage all of her dreams but don't give her the tools necessary to accomplish them :( in failing her as a mother 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢

I feel the same way my daughter wants to do ballet and right now we have to wait until everything is stable for the house my husband wants to put the boy's in basketball and football and baseball but I told them give us a little time this doesn't make us a bad mother we're striving it just takes time I'm still in school also

@ms.pettyj.rose, I understand but my kids have already done these activities for years.. Football, basketball and cheer included... We just bought a house in Texas last August and we didn't even stay a year. So I just feel like I keep holding them back by my decisions. Now it's middle of the season and he can't join a team and everything is so different. I worked so hard to be able to do everything for them as a single mom and now as a married woman I do so much less... I just feel helpless
