I'm a hairstylist I color hair all day, I'm due any day now . You can color your hair but just make sure it is ventilated and a door is open. No need to worry

Just make sure you can't feel yourself breathing in the fumes.

I never stopped coloring my hair and I'm a hairstylist and color hair at work all of the time. If you are concerned it's always best to talk to your dr. However hilights are in foils and don't touch your scalp at all so that's always an option.
