Ok so I know that's newborns aren't supposed to go on their tummies to sleep but it is the only thing that calms him. Anyone else deal with the same thing?

yes my daughter only wanted to sleep that way, she still does at 8 months.

my daughter falls asleep on my husband's chest on her stomach because that's the only way I'll trust her being on her stomach but she turns on her side when she's in her bassinet.

I say prop him on his side until he gets good with his neck muscles to be able to turn himself. I would do back to sleep if he's less than 2 months.
