So lately I suspect my little one is teething. Teeth have not started coming out yet but can this be the cause of breastfeeding him starting to hurt? He's latched correctly. It's been hurting for the past three days. It's almost feel like he's biting down on my nipples. It hasn't felt like this before. It really hurt but not to the point where I can't feed him anymore.

do you give him testing toys ? I'm sure he's just trying ease his pain with your nipple. maybe give him some teething tablets

I have but wasn't sure if it was teething. I'm definitely thinking it is teething. He slobber so much and he will try to bite my face and other body parts in a fussy manner

awh sounds like it is! mine started feeling sore when she started teething. Now that they are out she had bitten me a few times and they are a lot more sore ! I hope it doesn't get bad to the point that I wanna stop breastfeeding !

I've heard whenever they do that just take your finger unlatch them and tell baby in a sweet voice "That hurt mommy." Continue to unlatch her until she finally understands. Don't give up if that is what you want. It's such a great experience and a sweet bond.😊
