Our whole house is heartbroken. Yesterday morning I got woken up by Walter saying there was something wrong with Princess. She had somehow gotten out of the house when my in law's left that morning and she followed them down to the road. They didn't notice, but when they got home they found her lying at the bottom of our road. Someone had hit her. They brought her back up to the house and you could tell she wasn't going to make it. We all cried and cuddled with her as she took her last breathes. She was such an amazing dog and companion. She never met anyone she didn't like. All she ever wanted was to cuddle and have her belly rubbed. She did not deserve to die like that. She was Walter's little brothers dog and I have never seen someone so heartbroken in my life. She was the mother of my dog, Fiona. Our other dogs keep looking for her. Fiona no longer has a wrestling partner. We no longer have this sweet girl to cuddle with and take a nap. I couldn't even keep my eyes dry long enough yesterday to post about this. She was the houses dog. Everyone loved her so much. Walter broke down in tears after they had buried her. He found her collar laying on the chair on the porch and he cried so hard for her. For those of you who don't know, we are dog people. They are family to us. And now one of our family members is gone. R.I.P Princess❤
