My contractions started on 9/16 at about 11 am I didn't think they were real thought they were Braxton hicks contractions. I put my older daughter to sleep and I was still feeling the contraction I decided to take a bath which usually calms me down and let's me go to sleep. It didn't work at all. The previous three days I had very high blood pressure and I was actually at the hospital being monitored on Monday but since my blood pressure was normal the full time I was given Tylenol and slapped on my ass and sent home. 😩😩 through out the night in and out of sleeping I was feeling stronger contractions and I was feeling a lot of pressure downstairs still thought they were Braxton hicks. At about 4 got up went to use the restroom and when I wiped I just saw a little mucus decided to try and go back to sleep at 5:30 am got up again and felt like I had to poop this time when I wiped I saw bloody show. I waddled into the living room looking for my husband but found my son eating jelly beans. Waited outside the bathroom to tell him I was bleeding. My husband response was" I think it's time" naw really 😳😳😳my response was crying " I don't want to have the baby alone" and "I need to take another bath" lol who was I kidding while in the bathtub I screamed my fuck me I'm in labor for real scream. My husband came in the bathroom and said " I'm calling the ambulance". By that time I was on the bed with just a really big shirt coving me who has time for underwear. Four really hot firefighters walked into my house😏😏my husband is explaining to my two older kids that the ambulance was coming to take mommy to the hospital to have a baby. With this being said my kids get two chairs and sit in them like they are waiting for a show. 😂😂I was the show they were missing popcorn. Since I wasn't timing contractions they told me they were 3 mins apart and my blood pressure was 186/77 which is very high. Then one of them who I will refer as mustache guy👨🏻asked me if I felt her head which thank god I didn't. The ambulance was on the way when it finally came they loaded me on the ambulance and mustache guy 👨🏻asked me if I had my trusty washcloth which I kept stuffing in my mouth every time I had a contraction so I wouldn't scare them lol who was I kidding. 👨🏻He said "I'm glad you have that if I had to I would go charging back into your house to get it for you" 🚨🚨🚑🚑with a short ride to the hospital my contractions were 2 mins apart they took me straight to labor and delivery. Once there the midwife checked me and I was 9 1/2 centimeters dilated with a bulging water bag. My water never broke the midwife told me either " she can give me an epidural for the pain while I was having a contractions or she would break my water bag and the baby will be here shortly" I voted for just break it cause the pain was horrible and I was having all my labor in my back. The midwife 🙋🏻said "are you ready for a baby" my response was "no but she is almost here so knock yourself out doc" she broke my water and I just felt all kind of pressure and warmth. Doctor " fluid is clear she is crowning"😩😩😩next contraction she told me to push. Not even a few seconds later another contraction and in one really big push she was out. My beautiful baby that gave mommy gestation diabetes, high blood pressure, lactose intolerant. Apparently I lost a lot of blood during the labor which I wasn't aware off and that I had her early due to preeclampsia which they didn't watch me for. But that is my story
