@des_a_rayy, I'm not getting enough milk as of now. I want to cut out formula completely it has made my son so uncomfortable. Worried I can't keep up at this point.
It takes about a week to work and I only take 3 a day. My milk supply is high and its stayed high even when I went back to work full time but what also helped was pumping after nursing but if you think it will eventually cause engorgment alot than only do it till your supply is up and of course drink water :) I also used to drink the Mothers Milk tea too and that helped! How old is your son? ya I dont use formula my son hates it and wont take it and it also made him gassy when I did give it to him a couple of times.

That's why I've been stashing milk but I'm running out and trying to pump but sometimes I get more than other times and it's stressing me out because I don't have that much left. Girl yes! I missed like a day and a half pumping while waiting to get the pump and when I started back I was barely getting 1/2 oz or less, I took 3 this afternoon and 3 hours later I pumped 2 ozs... 😃 I got it from Walmart for like $5 for 100....
Awesome. You g to wal mart in the morning. I've got my last milks in the refrigerator downstairs I'm trying to pump but he's been drinking it all. He was super fussy and constipated with formula and is a super happy baby today on I my breastmilk. He usually never fusses do for him to be crying and in pain from the formula I felt so bad for my son I was crying with him poor baby. Anyways I can't wait to go get some of this.
Ya well he was just born right? Give it about 3 more weeks and your supply well be up, your body makes what they eat but after feeding him pump for about 8 min even if you dont get anything and do this at night and youll see an increase. Also make sure you do it every 2-3 hrs. And maybe get a nipple shield it will help him latch since he was used to bottle feeding if you want to try breast feeding. Dont give up and give it sometime :)
Let me know how it works for you. My baby is still in the nicu and is on a feeding tube so I've been pumping only - she wasn't digesting formula either... I was worried that day or so I didn't pump at all was causing the decrease but these pills have been working great so far!! Good luck!! 😊 @princevince
My son was on the nicu too because of breathing. They couldn't feed him by Louth when he was born so they had the tube. He started on bottles 2 days later and when we tried to breastfeed it was disastrous. He's been gassy and fussy so I took him off formula I was supplementing with while trying to make more milk and stash more but I need all the milk now because he's almost finished all the frozen supply while I've been pumping between his feedings but I'm getting worried now. So I've got to go get some. I'll let you know and thank you.

Yesterday I wasn't pumping as much. Maybe 1.5 ounces total between both my breasts. I took 3 pills 3 x plus 3 of the Brewers yeast 3x. I decided to give my breasts and mind a break and didn't pun between night feedings. My son is awake now with gas at 4 am so I figure I would pump while I'm awake trying to calm him. My breasts seem fuller and I believe I'm getting more. We'll see when I'm done. They say it kicks in at about 24 hours later. Keep you guys posted.
I'm not pumping at wee hours of the night. I have to start sleeping. I'm pumping before I sleep and early in the am along with during the day. I feel like the fenugreek has helped but not as much. I mean I do have more almost double. I've been getting blood on and off so that might be effecting it. Not quite a period yet. It's just been 24 hours since taking it so I'll give it a bit longer. The medela pump is great. I got the ameda from my insurance and it was terrible I barely got any milk from it and since my son was in the nicu for a week I pumped while I was there but anything I pumped he drank right away. Since he was in the nicu I got the pump at a rental fee of $30 for the month and then if I want to rent again I can. I can't imagine using the ameda. The medela works so much better.
Girl, I don't pump at night either! I got the ameda from insurance too and barely pumped anything with it! It was terrible!! I'm bac at the hospital staying while my daughter is in the nicu, so I've been using the medela and it is soooo much better!! I'm getting so much more with the medela... @princevince
Yes. The medela is amazing. That's what I did when I spent all my time in the nicu. A place here in Vegas rents them and if your child is in the nicu you get a $30 rental fee for a month instead of the $60. I'm going to keep it until I go back to work in November and pump as much as i can. I know I won't be able to pump at work so hopefully the debuggers keeps the supply up. I've been bad and only pumped twice today but got about 6 ounces each session. So that's really good. @cory1213
