It happens to the best of us. My daughter fell off my bed once, it was the most heartbreaking curplunk I've ever heard... but they are tough. I get it, though!
@karnawest, I cried longer than she did. I've never ran so fast! I scooped her up and she stopped crying! when she walking I don't think I'll be so heartbroken but then again I know I will @mamalamadingdong the sound she made I ever would have guess it was her! it was so loud then the scream it was awful!
When we still coslept, I woke up to my son whining and he had rolled off the bed! No worse feeling than that 😭😭 he was fine and luckily had landed in a pile of his dad's work clothes (thank god for me being lazy and not doing laundry!) but it still broke my heart and scared the shit out of me! 😩 I think all babies eventually roll off something. But like @karnawest said, just wait til they walk and climb! 😫😫😫
Trust me, your skin will thicken slowly but surely- because there will be many more bumps, bruises and broken hearts to come and you soon realize that you are their rock.
