What types of questions should I ask a potential childcare provider ?

Ask how long they been a provider ..

Degree?

Make sure to check the law on childhood daycare so u be aware of how many kids they are allowed per day etc ... Ask if they are licensed ... I prefer u find an licensed daycare because they follow the state rules

Ask how much they charge you

Check their contact becaus there might b some things u don't agree with ..

@latia0322 Haha, it's okay! You've been really helpful :) the woman is actually a girl I went to high school with who runs a licensed in home day care with her mom. I trust her completely, just didn't know what kind of stuff would be important to know.

each state has their own criteria for getting a good childcare provider. Ask if they are accredited. Background checks on employees, safety features (cameras, doors locked, do they alert you if anything happens at the daycare) and cleaning procedures

if you are looking at an in home daycare, you want to know about visitors they may have and how often they may have them
