When the dr checks to see how dilated you are, does it hurt? I get it done for the first time Monday…

I honestly thought it was painful and worse than a pap.

It was more uncomfortable than painful to me.

I can but also depends on your doctor. Like my doc is rough but my midwife is so gentle.

it doesn't,really hurt its more uncomfortable more than anything lots of pressure tho

I just had a scare and went to labor and delivery and that was the WORST I've ever experienced getting checked down there. I've been to the doctor a lot and never. .. but then again I am very sensitive down there and even the first few mins of penetration during sex hurts me

@btindell the dr I seen last time was really gentle with me. I don't have the same dr every time I go because on the military base they want you to see every dr since they don't know who will be on duty when you deliver >_< @ashleysable that's how I am! I'm sensitive there also so I'm worried it'll hurt really bad lol

mine doesn't hurt, surprisingly lol.

I got checked about a month ago because my Dr told me to go to l &d. The nurse I had just shoved her fingers up there and it kind of caught me off guard. Definitely uncomfortable but you will be fine.
