I don't understand... Eddison Hates all food besides avocado... I make his food. is that why???. I have read how to do it ?? I've tasted it. it tastes fine?? he doesn't like banana in puree or mesh feeder. he doesn't like apples. doesn't like sweet potato. doesn't like green beans. likes green peas but has a bad reaction. should I just buy store bought stuff. ?? is it me??? or quit trying?? he's 6 months. been eating avocados since 4 months. And I've tried trying them a couple times also.

Don't switch to store bought, that stuff is so nasty and not even close to being as healthy. Keep trying. Maybe mix something with the avocado?

Are you giving him purees or just regular food?

purees. except the banana I tried in the mesh feeder. the avocado has a very creamy texture. I'm wondering if that's it?? the others aren't creamy. they are a puree just Dont come out creamy though. I haven't tried mixing though! @itsbekah

add breastmilk or formula depending on which you are using when you mush them up! maybe it'll help the creamyness or try mashed potatoes they are creamy

Try just giving him regular steamed or cooked food. I never gave my son purees and I don't plan to with my daughter either. Check out this website. http://homemade-baby-food-recipes.com/baby-led-weaning-first-foods/ it's called baby led weaning. It's a little late for your baby but he might do better off of purees.
