I wouldn't be too concerned. It could just mean you are having a big baby lol...or maybe Gestational Diabetes? Who knows. But you might be induced if they feel at all concerned. My baby bro was born weighing nearly 11lbs lol! @tremzini

My mum gave birth to my brother just fine naturally :) :) Just because they suggest it doesn't mean you have to do it. It is totally your decision xD Our bodies are designed to push out babies. But some women have the wrong shaped pelvis for natural birth and especially if it is a big baby :) I'm sure you are just fine though xD Even if you do plan for natural birth there's also the possibility it won't go to plan and you may end up with a CS. CS's are totally fine though. Have a few family members that have had them.You want the best for your baby right? To get him/her out safely? You don't feel a thing during it. You get left with a small scar. If you don't want to be awake. They will put you to sleep if you want. But it means you will be asleep for about 30 mins. And your partner will see your baby first instead of you both seeing the baby together. Totally up to you xD @tremzini

I don't want a CS either but if there's an emergency e.g the baby is under stress, the wrong way...the heart drops etc...It will need to be done :) @tremzini

@tremzini, Don't panic, my first was 11lbs 2. We went for growth scan and they said "oh baby is big, be about 9lbs". Long labour, 4 days before due date, went from being the natural route to emergency C Section but it was fine as at that point you just want baby to be ok. Take it in your stride, you will be fine :)

Nothing wrong with a CS, I had to have one in the end. 'Too posh to push' lol.

my baby was measuring big all the way through and I had him (all 9lb 11oz ) within 4hrs start to finish at home. he was actually my easiest and best birth and I only needed 1 stitch! 😃 xx
