I was really looking into having a midwife and so I called my local hospital to see if there was one I could "interview" and they said the closet midwife that they know of is an hour away. ): I am driving the hour when I am ready for labor because my local hospital doesn't have a very good background check. (They absolutely suck) I don't like my ob either the ones around here suck and are so mean and hurtful (physically). This kind of really is a bummer
