I was told when I switched my son to formula to look for a few signs that the baby is still hungry. 1) immediately searching for the bottle or "routing" around looking for more. 2) Crying after trying everything else (changing, rocking, burping) 3) You see a decrease is BM or peeing. If this is what they are doing make an ounce and try that

BTW, my daughter is 4 weeks and yes I breastfeed most of the time but when I give her pumped milk its 3 oz

My daughter is almost 3 weeks and gets 2.5oz per feeding. I'd definitely up it to 3oz, if he doesn't take it then you know he's full.
