Okay ladies opinions needed.
As a woman, I've been tested for stds. And every time it has been 100% negative.
My fiancé has NEVER been tested.
I told him I want him to be tested before we get married just as a precaution and I think it's fair. He knows I don't suspect anything it's just what a normal person should do. Then he blows up and says he doesn't want to be married and he refuses to be tested.
He has agreed to it in the past but now he thinks he should have to. What do yall think?

If you've been tested since being with him, isn't it safe to assume he doesn't have anything? Then on the contrary, if he doesn't suspect he has anything, why would he care not to? I don't know, that's a questionable situation and it's hard to draw any conclusion without knowing anything else besides what you posted.

It shouldn't be a big deal for him to get tested, especially if he already agreed to it. I'd be a little concerned why he's blowing it out of proportion now.

It is a little fishy, but maybe he's getting defensive because you asked him a second time? I'm not 100% though.

Did you just have your std check up at the beginning of your pregnancy? Was he ok to take one then? But not now? Sounds a bit suspicious to me...

why not just get tested on gp? (good practices) you don't have anything so this should be a piece of cake. guys are so sensitive at times

Just because IM negative, does not mean he is. It's possible to have something, such as herpes, without spreading it to one another. And the fact that he used to agree to it, but doesn't now raises suspicion. His cousin has told me before that he has had something, he's butt dialed me while at work twice, once talking about lying to me and going to a strip club, and one other time talking about three domes he's had and talking about sexual things between him and other women. He is a person that constantly lies about super small things, so big things wouldn't surprise me. @mamalamadingdong
Kristen·
Well then I think the real question you should be asking yourself is: do you really want to marry someone with that type of history and someone who lies like that? It's a hard pill to swallow and I know it hurts us as women to think it might not work out with someone we love, but it's important to know that you deserve a good, honest man. 😞

very true. I didn't think about that... that would be my ultimatum.
Kristen·
Is he 17/18 years old as well? Guys typically mature sooo much slower than women, so if you're thinking you can wait for him to change, just know that it might be awhile. There are studies that suggest most men don't even hit maturity until around 27 years old.

He's 20 and very immature. He constantly says why are we together or talks crap to me. I'm with him for a couple reasons all of which involve my daughter. @mamalamadingdong

Right after me and my fiancé got together I got tested even tho I had only been with one person and we ALWAYS used protection, it's just the smart thing to do I didn't want to go into a new relationship and not know the state of my sexual health and when I asked my fiancé to get tested he got mad!!! He thought I was saying he was cheating by asking him to do that but I was worried he'd told me about his ex and how much she loved to sleep around finally he understood and got tested and thank god he did because a few months after he's gotten tested his ex called saying she had something ( his test came back negative so he wasn't worried )
Kristen·
Aww, I totally get it. Most of us all have been there... and I can tell you know you deserve better. It sounds so cliche, but you are young and there are plenty of decent men out there that would love you and your daughter like you both deserve. I'm not telling you to leave your boyfriend... that's not my decision to make. But as someone who has been in PLENTY of bad relationships with immature boys, I have learned a thing or two.

I would still make him. I two was in this situation with my fiance, i told him i wanted him to. he just said, well you've been tested and if you don't have anything, I shouldn't. that's not the case. a lot of stds can't be detected sometimes. always better to be safe

If someone is not 100% honest with you, even about little things, then he is also not honest with you about big things. I've been with a guy like that before, You love him, yeah you trust him but little things here and there pop up and you question it but yet you want to stay (especially for the child) but you really shouldn't get married if you know he is dishonest in any way because let me tell you, it's super easy to sign papers and get married, it becomes costly and more difficult to get a divorce. I'm delivering next week, I'm engaged to my baby's father but I'm still technically legally married to my ex and it's a tough situation that I'll have to resolve because he wants to make my life a living hell and he turned out to be a compulsive liar and he even lied to his own family about certain things... Ultimately it's your life and your decision but if you know something isn't right, don't go through with something that will only make things more tough for you.
