so things are finally starting to come together! I went and toured my hospital last week and their labor and delivery department was all amazing and they have things so I can give birth just about any way I want, and they run the number 1 NICU in Germany so in case something does go wrong with my boy he'll be in the best hands. then Friday I got a call from housing saying that my packet was finally approved by the garrison commander and they gave me keys to look at a place Friday before COB. it's a first floor apartment on post with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths and a playground right behind it! so now I'm waiting at the office to finalize my paperwork because the only thing better than that place would be one in Netzaberg but with an apartment I don't have to baby proof stairs. AND I made a trip to the ikea in Regensburg this weekend with my roommate and we got his crib and changing table/dresser.
