It was definitely a strain at first, but they both knew the temporary 'separation' was the best for them. They both claim to love the other and still see each other on a regular basis. However, their situation was definitely one heavily influenced by finances, I'm not sure how it is in your case, so I hope this helps at least a little lol @tjmcjm

I haven't done it personally...however, my friends have been together now for about 5 years and they were living together for around 1-2 years, up until a year ago. It was hard financially for them, so she moved back home... They are still together and have plans to move in with each other again once the finances are all situated.
